And Bhardwaj, dressed in a maroon sari with a golden border enchanted everyone with her golden voice as she rendered 'Badi dheere jali' from 'Ishiqya'.
For Wadkar, who has to his credit songs like 'Meri kismat mein tu nahi shayad' ('Prem Rog'), 'Aur Is Dil Mein' ('Imaandar'), 'Chappa chappa charkha chaley' ('Maachis'), this is his first National Award.
For Bhardwaj, this is her second National Award, having previously won it for 'Genda Phool' from 'Delhi-6'.
