Mahesh Manjrekar gets chic makeover for 'Ready'

New Delhi, March 17 (IANS) Filmmaker-actor Mahesh Manjrekar has been known for his casual and unkempt look in films so far. But he has got a makeover for the role of a sophisticated businessman in Anees Bazmee's 'Ready'.

He will be seen in three-piece suits, vibrant ties and stylish glasses to suit his role in the movie, produced by Bhushan Kumar and Rajat Rawail.

After playing characters like a local don in 'Slumdog Millionaire', a corrupt cop in 'Wanted' and an alcoholic in 'Dabangg', 'Ready' seems like a different challenge for Manjrekar.

Salman Khan and Asin Thottumkal play lead roles in 'Ready' that also features Paresh Rawal and Arya Babbar. It will release June 3.
