Mumbai, Jan 16 (IANS) Television actress Achint Kaur, known for playing the modern woman on the small screen, feels there is a dearth of writers who can churn out good comedies.
'I have read comedy scripts and except for J.D. Mathejia (of 'Khichdi' fame) or 'Office Office', I have not liked any other comedy script,' Achint told IANS.
'We have not evolved to that level that we can write good comedies. There are only some shows that are good but other comedies don't excite me,' she added.
The actress is currently seen in Zee TV's 'Jhansi Ki Rani'.

Yesteyear's diva Rekha seems to be quite impressed by actress Katrina Kaif's belly dance.
Rekha and Katrina met during the rehearsals of Star Screen Awards, where the veteran actress complimented Katrina on her dance moves and also requested her to teach a few steps from 'Sheila ki jawani' from Farah Khan's 'Tees Maar Khan' to which Katrina readily agreed.
And soon the two actors were seen happily shaking a leg on the song together.
