Adlabs Cinemas opens shop in Rajasthan

Jaipur, Nov 6 (IANS) Adlabs Cinemas, part of Reliance Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group and entertainment conglomerate Adlabs Films, has opened its first cinema hall in Kota, Rajasthan.

Tushar Dhingra, chief operating officer, Adlabs Cinemas, said in a statement: 'Kota is a popular tourist destination due to its rich history. It also has a large student community, making it an attractive location for Adlabs Cinemas and apt for our entry into Rajasthan.'

Adlabs Cinemas currently has 111 screens spread over 36 properties nationwide.

The air-conditioned Natraj Adlabs has a wide viewing screen. The auditorium has 661 seats with Xenon projection systems, and DTS (digital theatre system) sound. The hall also has food and beverages kiosks.

Adlabs Films, of which Adlabs Cinemas is a part, has market capitalisation of over Rs.30 billion. The company is into production of films and TV content, film processing and services, domestic and international distribution of content and a nationwide cinema chain.
