New Delhi, April 16 (IANS) Actress Meghna Malik, who plays the powerful and intimidating 'Ammaji' in 'Na Aana Iss Des Laado', pulled off a brave stunt by participating in a horse race without a body double.
'I love riding. I used to ride as a child so I know how to handle a horse. So when this particular scene was being discussed, I knew there was no way I was going to opt for a body double,' Meghna said in a press release.
In the show, her character required to prove her superiority over men in the scene and Meghna just took some preliminary training before the shoot.
'I guess I am like Ammaji in more ways than I can imagine. At least I possess her self confidence and her belief that she is at par at men and even better than them at some things... and just like her, I can't back down,' she said.

Ratan Rajput's broken dancing dreams
TV actress Ratan Rajput of 'Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo' is upset after she couldn't do STAR Plus' reality show 'Zara Nachke Dikha'.
According to a source from the channel, Ratan was approached to take part in the show but had to decline due to a clash in dates and she is pretty unhappy.
Apparently, Ratan was keen on showing the audiences her lighter side in this dance reality show, but was left with just broken dreams.

Romance brewing on the sets of 'Pratigya'
Usually lead pairs of TV shows are seen romancing each other, but the stars of 'Pratigya' have found a way to put a twist even in this tale.
According to sources from the channel, protagonist Arahaan Behl, who plays Krishna, has been seen getting cosy with his on-screen sister-in-law, played by Avantika Hundal.
If the crew on the sets of 'Pratigya' are to be believed then it is said that Arahaan is often seen hanging around Avantika and he even drops her home after the shoot.
When asked about their relationship, Arahaan said they are just friends -- friend or friendlier you decide.
In the serial, Pooja Gaur plays the title role.
