Alia Bhatt has been making it to the headlines after her exquisite performance in Gully Boy and we couldn't agree more she is one of the exceptional actress. So far Alia's journey into Bollywood has been a bumpy rides so far but, the actress has managed to give her best performances!
Now that Alia and Salman khan have finally collaborated for a Sanjay Lela Bhansali film which is titled as 'Inshallah'. But while one must have thought that it's Alia recent performances that led Bhansali to cast her, the filmmaker revealed that she'd come to audition for his 2005-released film, Black, and it was then that he knew she's going to be a Hindi film heroine. He, in fact, decided not to audition her for a child's role back then and save her "sparkle" for something big.
And we guess this something big would be 'Inshallah'!

During a recent media interaction, Bhansali revealed why he opted for Alia in his next. He has been quoted as saying, "Alia is an extremely young actress with a lot of magic. She fits the role beautifully. When she was nine, she'd come with her mother (Soni Razdan) to audition for Black. I saw the sparkle in her eyes. I told Soni I wouldn't audition her for a child's role because I knew she was a Hindi film heroine."
Bhansali further mentioned he'd wished to cast Alia in another film but that project didn't work out. He added, "Later, I went to Soni and Mahesh (Bhatt) and told them I wanted their girl, but that project didn't happen. Inshallah, this one will be a beautiful journey."
Seems like Alia had been very excited for her upcoming collaboration with Salman and Bhansali. The actress took to her Twitter handle and shared her excitement for the film. "It's been a long wait," she wrote.

In the next tweet, she shared this is dream come true moment and wrote, "Dream with your eyes wide open they say & I did. Sanjay Sir and Salman Khan are magical together & I can't wait to join them on this beautiful journey called "Inshallah".
