Mira ADDING Ekta to a MOMS GROUP was useful for her in many ways!

Bollywood filmmaker and producer Ekta Kapoor is the new mom in town after the birth of her child Ravie Kapoor who was born on January 27. The filmmaker has been passionate about being a mom for a few years now and she opted for surrogacy. She found out about the pregnancy in June last year.

During a media interaction, Ekta Kapoor conversed on a great length about motherhood and more. Talking about how motherhood changed in terms of her work, the producer said that she has hired more staff and has shifted her work to home. Further she added, "When I got to know, the surrogate had conceived it was on 7th of June, on my birthday I got to know. Last year in June on my birthday I was a bit overwhelmed and was like 'this is happening'. This is going to be a lot of responsibility. The first thing as a mother you feel is guilt. It's a bit confusing at this moment. It has been 25 days as of now."

Adding to it, there have been developments in her personal life as well. The filmmaker further added one important aspect of being a mom in the celebrity work and shared that Shahid Kapoor's wife Mira Rajput Kapoor had once added her to a Whatsapp group while Ekta was writing the script of a parenting show she was going to produce.

She shared, "India is so ready to lap up everything about parenting and there are about ten parenting shows now. Urban parenting except for Hindi Medium hasn't been really captured. So I was doing this show, so I think it is a huge demand anywhere. Me being a mother or not. I might get a few insights. By mistake once, Mira Kapoor added me to a mother's group. And I was like 'oops how can I leave this group' and I was hearing these conversations and writing my script and said 'this is fantastic'."

On the work front, Ekta Kapoor will be producing several projects this year including Sidharth Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra's Jabariya Jodi, Kangana Ranaut's Mental Hai Kya, Ayushmann Khurrana's Dream Girl and Konkona Sen Sharma's Dolly Kitty Aur Woh Chamakte Sitare.
