Is Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara sequel on the cards? Zoya Akhtar answers

Zoya Akhtar's 2011 film, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, starring Farhan Akhtar, Hrithik Roshan, Katrina Kaif, Abhay Deol, and others, was loved by the audience and the critics alike. The filmmaker is currently busy promoting her latest release Gully Boy, alongside its lead actors Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt, in full swing. And interestingly, during a recent interaction with News 18, stated that she is dying to work with Hrithik again and is contemplating to do a sequel of Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara as well.

"I am really keen to work with him again so planning to make a sequel to 'Zindagi Na Milegi Dobaara'. However, I will start working on this project only when I get a good script. Katrina Kaif, Farhan Akhtar, Kalki Koechlin and Hrithik Roshan, all four guys are very special to me. I really share a good bonding with them so I can't even think of making a sequel just for the sake of money," Zoya said in the interview.

Well, we certainly hope ZNMD 2 becomes Zoya's next project post-Gully Boy.

For the unversed, Zoya has worked with Hrithik in her debut film Luck By Chance, which starred Farhan as a the main lead. Now with her expressing her wish to work with the talented actor, we cannot wait to see them carve their magic on the silver screen.
