Makers of Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar looking for a Clean Release window

Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar, that features Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra as the lead pair, was earlier slated to hit the screens on March 1, 2019. The film, that is being touted as a taut thriller, is directed by Dibakar Banerjee and was wrapped up almost a year ago.

An Industry informer revealed "It is a fully multiplex film and it is a thriller. It definitely needs a clean release period. Now, two films are releasing on March 1 and both are urban, multiplex films targeting similar theatre-going audience set. It doesn't make sense to have a three-way clash and YRF is thinking about other release dates for the film. A clean and clear run will benefit the film tremendously and YRF has to look at the release schedule closely to arrive at a decision," 

According to reports, Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar, a Yash Raj Films production, follows the story of a man and a woman who represent two completely different Indians. While Arjun's character is of a Haryanvi police officer, Parineeti's comes from the corporate world. Their mistrust, suspicion, and hate for each other are what unites them.

Arjun and Parineeti reunited on the big screen after six years with 2018's Namaste England.
