Rishi Kapoor OPENS UP about his Medical Treatment in the US

As reported earlier, Rishi Kapoor is receiving treatment for his illness in the USA for the past few months. He is accompanied by his wife and actress Neetu Singh who is taking care of him and updating his fans about his health regularly. His son Ranbir Kapoor along with his girlfriend Alia Bhatt has been paying him regular visits.

Rishi and Neetu's daughter Riddhima Kapoor Sahini too arrived in the States to ring in the New Year with her family.

Also, Priyanka Chopra, Sonali Bendre, Goldie Behl and Anupam Kher too had visited Chintuji when they were in the US.

All this while, the exact illness Rishi is suffering from has not been known to us. However, there have been several reports floating in the market which stated that the actor is suffering from cancer, but none of the family members confirmed about the same.

Now, after several months, Rishi opened up about his illness during an interaction with entertainment portal Bollywood Hungama.

He shared, "My treatment is on, hopefully, I will recover soon and God willing I will return. The procedure is long and tedious and one needs immense patience which unfortunately is not one of my virtue."

He also revealed about his professional life on hold at the moment and said, "Thankfully, I am not thinking about films anymore, just want to be blank and refresh myself with a more relaxed mind. This break shall be therapeutic for me."

The report further stated that if the treatment goes well, the legendary actor will return to Mumbai in the month of April this year.
