Amrita Singh and Saif Ali Khan's daughter Sara Ali Khan impressed the audiences and the critics alike with her acting chops in her debut film Kedarnath. Soon after, she went on to spell magic on the silver screen in Rohit Shetty's Simmba opposite Ranveer Singh. Not to forget, her second film has already set the box-office roaring.
While fans cannot stop raving about Sara for her candidness, there have constant comparisons drawn with her mother Amrita, who is a renowned Bollywood actress herself. When Sara was asked about to comment on the uncanny resemblance she has to young Amrita, she told Deccan Chronicle, "I took a picture of me in purple lipstick and there was a picture of my mom thirty years ago in purple lipstick. It's more of DNA and chance. I felt 'wow we are doing the same thing'.

Further speaking on comparisons made on the basis of action, Sara quipped that it will take her a long time to be compared to her talented mother. "Talking about the comparisons being made on the acting front, Sara has been quoted as saying, "But I don't know about acting. She is an extremely fine actor and it will take me a long time to be compared to her," she added.
Meanwhile, on the work front, speculations have been rife that Sara is being considered for the role of female lead in Imtiaz Ali's next opposite her self-admitted crush Kartik Aaryan. With no official confirmation, we must say it would be a delight to see them together.
