Varun Dhawan had a blast in 2018 with his two films which were appreciated by critics as well as audiences.

We saw Varun playing the role of Dan in Shoojit Sircar's soulful film October. In the film, the actor impressed everyone with his innocent acting.

Later this year, he was seen as a tailor named Mauji in Sharat Katariya's Sui Dhaaga - Made in India opposite Anushka Sharma.

A while back, Varun took to his Instagram page and shared a cute candid click with his dad David Dhawan, brother Rohit Dhawan and niece. Varun captioned the photo stating, "3 men and a baby. All I want for Christmas is u. Thank u so much for the love this year for #October and #suidhaaga. Mauji and Dan will always live on cause u guys gave me so much love and confidence to do something new. This picture is 2018 for me. My niece every day teaches me something new."

Varun will next be seen in Kalank which will release in the month of April next year.
