She's so normal, it's astonishing: Ranveer Singh on Deepika Padukone

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, who dated for over 6 years now, finally got married in November at Lake Como in Italy. Ever since they tied the knot, the two have been giving us major couple goals with their public appearances. Not to forget, Ranveer cannot stop gushing about his lady love and has time and again, called Deepika as the 'most amazing woman'.

Now while promoting his upcoming film Simmba, Ranveer was asked how he maintains the work-life balance considering he's newly married, to which he replied that he was able to connect with Deepika because both of them have had a normal upbringing away from the Bollywood glitz and glamour.

During an interview with Film Companion, the actor was quoted as saying, "When the work is over we go home, it's very normal and it's very simple. I think we have a support system that keeps us grounded. Both of us have been brought to be a certain way."

Expectedly so, Ranveer could not stop gushing about his wife Deepika and said that while he is not sure about himself but knows how normal and simple she is. Talking about her, he said, "I can't say this about myself but I can tell you, she's such a simple girl. She's so normal, it's astonishing! She's like the biggest superstar and you have to see her at home...She's just... kya bolu?"

Isn't that just aww-dorable?
