Radhika Madan bags Most Promising Newcomer award at Star Screen Awards

Radhika Madan who made her big Bollywood debut with Vishal Bhardwaj's Pataakha walked away with the Most Promising Newcomer trophy at the Star Screen Awards held recently in Mumbai.

The proud winner said, "Thank you Screen! I'm still not able to believe it. Thank you so much Vishal sir for believing in a nobody and giving me the character of Badki. It has been a privilege of working with you so early in my career. Thank you Sanya (Malhotra) for being such a wonderful costar. I don't think I would have been able to perform even a little bit if you wouldn't have performed so amazingly."

Equipped with confidence, a passion to make it big and above all talent, the powerhouse actress stole the show in Pataakha that follows the story of two warring sisters.   

Radhika will be next seen in Vasan Bala's next, Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota alongside debutant Abhimanyu Dassani.
