Priyanka RECALLS the Moments JUST BEFORE she EXCHANGED Vows with Nick

Priyanka Chopra exchanged vows with beau Nick Jonas at Umaid Bhavan in Jodhpur amidst family and close friends. On December 1, the bride and the groom had a Catholic Wedding and Nick's dad, Paul Kevin Jonas officiated the wedding.

For her Christian wedding ceremony, PeeCee wore a hand-beaded and embroidered Ralph Lauren gown with a 75-foot long veil and she looked ethereal as she was escorted down the aisle by her mother Madhu Chopra.

Speaking of her big day, in her interview with People.com, Priyanka shared that she was nervous and scared before the nuptials. She also said that she was in tears when she walked the aisle with her mom. However, her worries flew away when she saw her groom waiting for her down the aisle.

"Every girl dreams of being a princess on her wedding day. But I never had a plan about what I wanted it to be."

Recalling her emotions and feelings just before she walked the aisle carrying a bouquet of hyacinths and tuberoses designed by Jenya Flowers (NYC), PeeCee said, "It was all tears. All tears, I could not hold it in. I think I was nervous and scared. But as soon as the curtains opened, and I saw his face it was just like everything settled and I knew I was making the best decision of my life."

The actress further revealed that it was Nick's idea that they dream big and opt for not one, but two ceremonies in India to celebrate their different backgrounds.

"It melted my heart," said the "Quantico" actress, adding that being able to have two big weddings, in India, with their closest family and friends was "unbelievably special".

"I love that our wedding was a religious mash-up," said the actress.

"We took beautiful traditions that we both grew up with and personalized them in a way that made sense for us. It's been incredible to find the commonalities between our beliefs and figuring out how to blend them in a respectful and meaningful way."
