Deepika was GIFTED her Konkani Wedding Saree by THIS Special Person

Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone tied the knot as per the Konkani traditions on November 14, 2018 at Lake Como, Italy. The couple exchanged vows amongst family and very close friends.

As we all know, the bride and the groom's wedding attires were all taken from celebrity fashion designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee's collections.

However, the saree that she wore for her Konkani wedding was not from Sabyasachi but was purchased from another place altogether.

We got our hands on an interesting piece of news which states that Deepika received her Saree as a gift from a very special person and this has been revealed by designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee himself.

In a post updated on his social media handle, he has revealed that as per the Konkani tradition, the Saree was gifted to Deepika by none other than her mother Ujjala Padukone.
