Ki & Ka: (Short Movie Review)

If an old saying is to be believed, "What a man can do, a woman can never do and what a woman can do a man can never do". But, if we think deeply then is it actually the case?

Let's change this mentality. Let's reverse the roles and see who can perform which part better. This is what "Ki And Ka" is all about! Roles reversal

Glimpse of the story:

A simple, Boy Kabir played by Arjun Kapoor meets an over ambitious, career oriented girl Kia played by Kareena Kapoor, they exchange their thoughts, plans, goals, etc. and then "pyaar ho jata hai". Phir kya wohi ghisi piti kahani but no this love story has a twist because here their roles get reversed. The Housewife becomes the Working Wife and the Working Husband becomes the House Husband.

Story from here becomes completely predictable and fails to hold the attention of the viewers. However, the only element that catches your eyes is the beautiful and creatively designed home and kitchen of your characters. No doubt the set designers have done a commendable job of making such an interesting "Food Train".

All this is then followed by a lot of over acting, unnecessary drama and a little entertainment.

The second is half comes with an unpredictable twist and that is what stops you from falling asleep or leaving the theater in irritation.

Then the Bachchan's arrive! And when there is a legendary actor like Amitabh Bachchan and versatile actress Jaya Bahchan in the house; even a simple scene becomes the most interesting and entertaining segment of the whole part. Their exit is followed by the Climax and a beautiful message for all of us!!!
