Teji Bachchan passes away

Amitabh Bachchan with mother Teji Bachchan" src="http://www.india-forums.com/bollywood/images/uploads/amitabh_teji_big.jpg" align="right" border="" hspace="5" vspace="5">Mumbai, Dec 21 (IANS) Teji Bachchan, wife of the late Hindi poet Harivansh Rai Bachchan and mother of Bollywood star Amitabh Bachchan, died here Friday after a prolonged illness. She was 93.

She had been at the Leelavati Hospital for over a year and had been suffering from multiple old age related ailments.

Teji Bachchan is survived by her two sons Amitabh and Ajitabh.
