Big B wishes Happy Gudi Padwa

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan wishes all his fans, a happy and prosperous "Ugadi" and "Gudi Padwa".

"Happy 'Gudi Padva' to all my Maharashtrian brothers and sisters... and Happy 'Ugadi' to those in the Southern regions ...Naoroz Mubarak to all our Kashmiri friends," the 70-year-old tweeted.

Gudi Padwa is the Marathi name for Chaitra Pratipada. The day is marked as the beginning of the New Year, according to the Hindu calendar.
