Sunny day in Delhi

New Delhi, Feb 10 (IANS) After shallow fog in the morning, the capital experienced a sunny Sunday with a light nip in the air. Monday is likely to be cloudy, said the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

The maximum temperature Sunday was recorded one notch above average at 23.7 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature settled three notches below average at 7.1 degrees Celsius.

"The sky will be cloudy on Monday," said an IMD official.

The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 23 and 7 degrees Celsius, respectively, Monday.
