Yes, you read it right. The open animosity between Salman and SRK is coming close to see peace at last - all thanks to Shiv Sena.

The news states that both Khans are no longer enemies. Salman has shown great support to Shah Rukh, in regards to his involvement with the controversy over his comments about Pakistani players' place in the IPL (Indian Premiere League).
Salman went n to declare that SRK does not owe an apology to Shiv Sena. He has put aside his personal conflicts with SRK to give his complete backing to the bigger cause at hand. He has also openly announced that there was nothing unethical in passing a comment in favor of Paki players. Being an owner of one of the IPL team, gives him the professional rights as well, to indulge in such decisions if he believes they are unfairly taken.
As a corollary to the controversy, Salman also stated that My Name Is Khan should be released as it was meant to.
One will recall previously, Shah Rukh's comment about Salman being a great actor; it seems to be the latter's chance to return the call.
Bollywood in fact, has come together in solidarity. Actors, directors are showing their support alike to SRK. Many stars have spoken up for him including Abhishek Bachan, Bipasha Basu, Kajol, Priety Zinta, Aamir Khan (who was also declared as the second idiot in addition to SRK by Shiv Sena), Ayesha Takia, Farhan Akhtar, Priyanka Chopra, Kunal Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Konkana Sen Sharma and Farah Khan.
For whatever their vested interests, Shiv Sena seem to have accomplished a mighty unifying task - especially in bringing the Khans together!
