
Good news
for fans eagerly awaiting Salman's latest movie, Wanted! The Supreme
Court on Wednesday allowed producer
Boney Kapoor to release his film on
September 18. But, there is a catch he has to deposit a security of Rs Two
crore by September 16 which was yesterday.
For those
who have been keeping up with the BollyCurry news, Kapoor had recently run in
to a legal dispute over a loan he had taken from Sushil Gupta back in
2006. The Bombay High Court, directing the producer to secure the amount
and had restrained him from releasing the
Salman Khan-starrer, 'Wanted'
until the amount was deposited and the matter was settled.
A bench
headed by Justice B N Agarwal allowed Kapoor to release the film after his
counsel Mukul Rohtagi offered to deposit Rs 2 crore with the registry of the
Bombay High Court as a security amount by September 16.
