Kangana Ranaut to shoot for a promotional song for Manikarnika

The film is being helmed by Telugu director Radhakrishna Jagarlamudi (Krish) and also stars Ankita Lokhande, Sonu Sood, Atul Kulkarni and Jisshu Sengupta in vital roles.

However, only a few days are left to wrap up the shoot and the actress will then gear up for the promotion of the film.  The promotions are said to include two promotional songs for the period drama, according to Times of India. The songs will be penned by Prasoon Joshi.

Talking about the promotional tracks, a source revealed to TOI, "Right now, we're not sure whether we'll retain two promotional numbers or go with just one. The track we're currently working on is entertaining and inspirational in nature. It matches the tone of the narrative. We're hoping to finalise the lyrics, music and other details soon."

5 days of patchwork schedule in Madhya Pradesh is left to wrap the movie and Kangana will also shoot for one of the promotional tracks. Kangana will be juggling all this with Cannes 2018 for which the actor will be walking the red carpet on May 11, 2018.

Initially, Manikarnika was scheduled to release on April 27, 2018, but was later pushed and now speculations are rife of an August release, though no official announcement has been made by the makers yet.
