Hosted by lyricist Praveen Bharadwaj, composer Nikhil and Agam Kumar Nigam, the party saw Bhushan Kumar, singer Tulsi Kumar who has also lent her vocals to the album and director Divya Khosla Kumar join the celebrations. Cheering them on were actor Kapil Sharma, directors Sanjay Sharma and Sandy Higgins, Nikhil's wife Neetu, Talat Aziz and Bina Aziz Kamaal Khan among others.
The evening was s melodious one with everyone keeping their speech short and sweet and letting the bubbly froth and tuck in a sumptuous dinner.
Sonu had some quite moments with his dad, even giving him that well-deserved peck in his cheek more than once, displaying affection in public, something that Sonu is never seen to do otherwise.
"He put his career on pause to get mine forward. Said Sonu emotionally. I am glad Gulshanji saw that from above and gave him the success that he so well deserved."
