Despite favorites such as Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara and Murder 2 still going strong, we make space for the new tracks that have yet to reach a sizable fan base but are worth a hearing, all the same!
Harris Jayaraj of Rehna Hai Tere Dil Mein fame returns with John Abraham's upcoming thriller, Force. Whilst the album as a whole is unexceptional; two out of 5 songs are worth the repeat button with the front runner being "Khwabon Khwabon" - an upbeat track which stops just short of being a dance number and impresses with some amazing lyrics by Javed Akhtar.
Maneuvering into more experimental waters is the album Soundtrack which pulls its inspiration from Indi-pop with musicians such asMidival Punditz and Karsh Kale on board. Our favorites include "Naina Lagey" (a brilliant display of Indian Classical singing) and a techno-fusion number "Atomizer", which is likely to become a rage with the DJs.
Meanwhile "Dhunki" continues its reign on the top spot with Bodygaurd's "Teri Meri", crooned by duo Shreya Ghoshal and Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, not far behind.
"Choomantar" of Mere Brother Ki Dulhan lands the 6th spot with the melodious tracks of Mausam taking the 3rd and 4th spots with last weeks "Rabba Main Toh" and new entry "Ik Tu Hi Tu Hi".
