A story about friendship is Zoya and Farhan Akhtar's upcoming movie Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara. Starring biggies such as Hrithik Roshan, Abhay Deol, Farhan Akthar, Kalki Koechlin and Katrina Kaif, the movie is about the relationship of 3 friends and its changes as they step into the serious and real world of life. The movie also features the much awaited pairing of Katrina and Hrithik for the first time ever!

Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara has its music scored by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy which brings forward a high expectation as to what the music will really be like.

The album is kick-started with 'Dil Dhadakne Do' attempting to connect to the youth. The song turns out to be very enjoyable to listen to as it depicts how to live life to the fullest. Joi Barua, Suraj Jagan and Shankar Mahadevan come together for this playful song. Their voices assert a positive feeling, which proves to be quite soothing. The music, which is neither too loud nor too soft, works perfectly for the song as it gives a perfect tune for the youth. Overall, it's not to be missed, as who knows, it might just give you inspirations for your future!

A song that became a smash hit right upon its release through promos is Ik Junoon (Paint it red). Once again, the song targets generation next with its fun lyrics and upbeat music. As evident by the reactions to the promos, the song is quite fun to watch playing up the famous Tomatina festival in Spain. Vishal Dadlani is accompanied by Shankar Mahadevan, Ehsaan Noorani, Gulraj Singh and Alyssa Mendonsa for this song. Just like the previous track, this music too is neither too loud nor too soft, giving something soothing for the ears. Also, the lyrics of this song are quite unforgettable as well. Don't find yourself surprised when you tap your foot to the song or have it stuck in your head as Ik Junoon is one you'd crave to listen to again and again.

As for the remix version of this song, it takes you to an even better dance-floor platform. Except for a faster pace in this song that its original version, there are very few noticeable changes in the song : there are more beats to the song to hold that 'remix' value, and it's a bit darker and deeper than the actual version in the first 30 seconds. Once the singers come up, the song is all enjoyment yet again, as the same effect is grasped. All in all, this song definitely makes you want to pull the dancing shoes out!

Alyssa Menonsa and Mohit Chauhan's 'Khaabon Ke Parinday' is the next song in the album. The music tone of the song is very soothing and soft to the ears and the background score is also perfect for the same. The singers have done a nice job throughout the song. Definitely give this one a listen.

'Senorita' is the song of the album that you should absolutely not miss out on. It turns out to be a completely fun and entertaining song; one that leaves you smiling throughout it's duration and after! And if you didn't already figure it out, it's none other than Hrithik Roshan, Abhay Deol and Farhan Akhtar behind the mikes singing themselves! And what a great job they do despite not being professionals! You'll be tempted to put this song on repeat to listen to the voices of these three actors. Maria Del Mar Fernandez is also featured on the song, singing the Spanish portion. In the same theme as the rest of the album, the music of this song is really interesting. It  has quite a Spanish feel especially due to the typical guitar and clapping rhythms used in the background. Make sure you don't miss out on this song!

'Senorita' also has a remix version which is paced a bit faster than the original version to make it more appropriate for dancing. More beats are added to the song to give it the remix feel, but not much else stands out!

The next song in the album, 'Dair Lagi Lekin', takes a different route than the rest of the album. While the beats and the music of the song are a bit fast paced, Shankar Mahadevan's singing is slower in pace and creates an interesting effect. However, even the music might be paced fast, it isn't that loud to shift the focus from the powerful lyrics. This song can almost be considered as the sad song of the album. We definitely suggest giving it a listen!

Bringing the fun back in the album is the next song 'Suraj Ki Bahon Mein'. Loy Mendonsa, Clinton Cerojo and Dominique Cejoro sing this entertaining song! While it might seem that the song is a bit simple at first, the choice of music used make it a bit more interesting.

The last song of the album isn't quite a song. It has a more poetic feel with soft and simple music in the background. It's not sung but spoken by Farhan Akthar with apt music highlighting his voice and his lines. While Farhan does speak through the majority of the song, the simplicity of the music is the best part of this unconventional 'song'.

The overall album of Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara is filled with fun songs that won't leave you disappointed at all. The majority of the songs are fun and full of energy; perfect for the young, in age and at heart! The music is quite a mixed bag with something that would appeal to everyone! Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy have done a fabulous job with this album and we highly suggest you to give it a listen, you won't regret it!
