 Golmaal Returns

Think of Golmaal and fun is the first word that comes to mind. Rohit Shetty's movies have always been all about fun whether it'd be the Golmaal series itself, Sunday or All the best. There has never been a single dull moment in any of his movies and that is exactly what everyone expects of the next installment of the Golmaal series, if not more.
The music composers and lyricists are the Pritam-Kumaar duo that are believed to have created magic with their musical skills.

The first song of this album is the most loved and remembered track, "Golmaal".  It is sung by KK, Anushka Manchanda, and Monali Thakur. The song starts with the well known Golmaal tune and then it slowly dissolves into a hip-hop beat. The remix version of the title track is very fast paced and is the perfect party song to get someone dancing.

The second song is called "Apna Har Din" by Shaan, and Anushka Manchanda. The song is a nice rhythm with lots of drums. The tune is very catchy and the lyrics are perfect. The song is about togetherness and has a carnival mood to it. The remix of the song is more of a disco type. The lyrics, tune and beat is faster than the original.

The next track sung by Neeraj Shridhar and Antara Mitra is about a bunch of friends who have paved their own path to destiny and don't care about the rest of the world.
This song focuses more on a club type mood that would make you want to get up and dance but we'd rather go with the foot tapping than dancing. The track is very lively but not lively enough to be the next huge chartbuster.

The best song of the album is near the end. The artists up for this song are Neeraj Shridhav and Sunidhi Chauhan.  The song "Desi Kali" is for sure to become the next chartbuster. It has all the rhythms and beats that will undoubtedly make you want to get up and dance. The remix just makes it a little more fun to listen to and adds more spice to the track. A lot of drums are used in the remix version and it is a lot faster.

The last songs in the album are "Yaad Aa Raha Hai" by Sudesh Bhosle and Bhappi Lehri gets behind the mike for "Disco Dancer". The songs are quite old-fashioned and slow. Songs like these were inevitable because of the film featuring Mithun Chakravorty. The two songs have been re-arranged to fit the contemporary times. We can say that the songs most definitely remind us of olden times!

Overall, the album for this film is very fun and full of life as expected from Rohit Shetty. They surely have a winner on their hands with "Desi Kali" that we strongly recommend to give a listen to.

Bollycurry gives this album a 3/5.
