Happy Belated Birthday Randhir Kapoor!

Since 15th February marked the birthday of veteran Bollywood actor, Randhir Kapoor, BollyCurry and his fans celebrate the occasion of his 67th birthday together!

Randhir Kapoor was born on 15th February 1947 to Raj Kapoor and Krishna Kapoor. He is the eldest son of the couple and his grandfather is the late Prithviraj Kapoor. He is a proud member of the industrious Kapoor family, which carries a Bollywood legacy of its own. He is married to Babita Kapoor, and the couple have two daughters, both actresses, Karisma Kapur and Kareena Kapoor Khan. 

Kapoor started his career as a child artist with the movie Shree 420 in 1955, which was followed by Do Ustad (1959). Kapoor worked as an assistant director in 1968 and then made his acting and directorial debut in 1971 with Kal Aaj Aur Kal which also featured his wife, father and grandfather. The movie was an average success. In 1972, his movies, such as Jeet, Rampur Ka Lakshman, and Jawani Diwani were highly successful. 1974 had two hits in the form of Hamrahi and Haath Ki Safai; however, his third movie, Dil Diwana, was not as successful. He continued to give several hits in the coming years like Khalifa (1976),Bhanwar (1976), Dhoonge (1979), and Chor Ke Ghar (1978), before turning producer withHeena (1991) and taking a break from acting. He made a comeback with Mother in 1999. He also acted in Housefull (2010), Housefull 2 (2012) and Ramaiya Vastavaiya (2013).

Apart from acting, he also looks after RK Studios and has directed and produced a few movies as well.
