Behold everyone! Abbas Tyrewala has expressed interest in making a sequel to his hit movie " Jaane tu ya jaane na". He had mesmerized the audience last year with the young budding romance of Jai (Imran Khan) and Aditi (Genelia D'souza) and had GenX crooning and swooning for the two.

This time around the story will revolve around Jai and Aditi's marital problems.

As one night a drunk Jai ends up having a shocking one-night stand with another woman. It is being assumed the "other woman" will be Manjari Phadnis who played the role of Jai's ex-girlfriend Meghna. The incident will bring Jai and Aditi on the verge of divorce.

Genelia who has become a face to reckon with, has been poured with offers of movies and endorsements after JTYJN. The spunky actress is very excited about the sequel, as it will be like a homecoming and has expressed desire work with her Jaane tu ya jaane na team again.

Imran on the other hand is only willing to go through with a sequel if it consists a solid script. Jaisa mamu waisa bhatija! Even though they had always joked around about a sequel called " Jaane 2 ya jaane na", the latest pick-up boy of Bollywood has doubts about getting the same reception once again. Imran cited the example of hit American sitcom " F.R.I.E.N.D.S" which started off with a bang but dragged on for 10 long years, till everyone was bored.

According to sources there was always a plan for a sequel. The film and the characters were written in a way where a sequel could be added later on, character growth for example. Abbas had also not rushed into making the sequel as he wanted to see his characters mature. Will the audience be as excited to see Rats and Meow grow up?
