Hrithik Roshan SPEAKS UP for the FIRST TIME LIVE UPDATES

For the 1st time in 4 years Hrithik Roshan opened up about his "ugly spat" with Kangana Ranaut.

After Arnab welcomed HR on the show, Hrithik began with, "First of all, I am not a victim. I don't think there is anything in my life that will make me think that way about myself. I know, and I have always known, that whatever I say can and will be used against me," he continued, "and I have to be honest that I am very, very uncomfortable right now."

"I am not a confrontational person. I have never had a fight in my life - neither with a man nor a girl. Even in my divorce, there was no fight," he said. "I know that there is absolutely no grace in what I am doing right now. There is no grace in sitting here and testifying for my character and making myself sound right and good and true, and by implication, making someone else seem wrong."

"I was also very afraid. I'm afraid that my words would be misconstrued. If I come across as strong they might term me as aggressive, if I show emotion they might term me as weak, if I show that I am vulnerable, they say 'he's looking for sympathy.'"

"If I'm walking down the street and if a person abuses me, the dignified thing to do is to keep walking, but if that person starts throwing stones into my home, and affects the well being of me and my family, then that silence is no longer strength, that silence becomes weakness," he said.

"It's been four years, and I've had enough."

As reported earlier, the "ugly spat" began in January 2016, after Kangana addressed Hrithik as her 'silly ex', and this irked Hrithik to fight back who in turn retaliated and tweeted.

It then went on and the duo have since then exchanged several legal notices, even more open letters, disclosed intimate details about their alleged affair, and taken the fight to another level.

"I've had enough," Hrithik continued, "I need to say what I want to say, but I have to keep live up to this star thing of mine. I have to be cool and not give any attention to something that is not important, but after a while I realised I was pretending. It was affecting me, it was affecting my community, it was affecting my sense of well being. That's not being a hero, that's being fake," he said.

Arnab asked him what his snap out moment was. "I was advised to stop. I'm usually very stable, but in that state of mind, to come out and talk, was not advisable - not that I am totally comfortable right now - but one has to grow and realise that some things need to be done."

Arnab then took the opportunity to say that several powerful politicians come on his show and pretend that they are comfortable, and he found Hrithik's candour refreshing.

"I was afraid, and now I am not going to be afraid. I am going to allow my mind and my heart to say what it wants to say. If I hurt somebody's sentiments, I'd like to apologise right now."

Why are you here?

Hrithik: I just want to say that I am not a VICTIM. I dont consider myself as a victim anything that will happen in my life will make me think that.

What ever I say can and will be used against me. I am very very uncomfortable sitting here right now.

I have never had a single fight in my life with anyone, with any girl. Not even in my divorce I have never had a single fight. I also know that there is absolutely no grief in what I am doing right now. sitting here and testifying my character.

About being a coward?

Hrithik: I am coming withou tany I have just had ENOUGH. I cannot describe it. I have to live up to this STAR thing of mine. After a while i realized it was affecting me. My sense of well being. I realized I was PRETENDING.

When was the snap out moment?

Hrithik: I dont want to blame it on people. I am going to allow my mind and heart to speak.

When did you first meet Kangana?

Hrithik: 2009- 2008 when we started shooting for Kites.

Found Solace in each other's company and became good friends?

Hrithik: We did not become good friends. I found her extremeny professional. She came with her dialogues ready. Some actor giving so much to my film is more than I ask for. I was extremely proud of her. She even told me she was very inspired by me when she was 8-9 years.

She had an issue with language and so did I. So that's when we shared the same issues.

My father approached Kangana. She felt that her role might be cut. So my father gave her a complete brief.

Was there a relationship?

Hrithik: There was no relationship. Fact is than fiction. No romantic angle.

What happened during Krrish 3?

Hrithik: I wonder if my need to please my actors may have a ... If sending a smiley face. If she was doing a somersault she used to send me those videos and I used to appreciate her. Compliment her.

That has called for all of this.

When you are the host and you have a party you have to behave nice to the people. That's what I was doing.

I found Kangana very very shy. We never spoke. We never had a point where we had a conversation.

About inviting her to his Birthday Parties and attending her birthday parties:

Hrithik: That's my team. This is why we are shooting for a film. Those were all moments of celebrations. I am a very proud person.

Was there something more?

I dont think she was invited for any of the birthday party when there was no film in the production.

Why didn't you come out before and cleared it?

It was such a hostile platform. Everything and anything I did, speak was used against me. I have wtitten some 20 blogs on this and then I shared it some of my friends and then they said that you just can't do it. You are a "star".

About the Emails:

Hrithik: I haven't used any of the account. It's apparently the "IMPOSTER" must have sent the mails.

She was asking me for the help. I called up my manager, cyber cell to help them. I need to send them a message it will all be "Okay".

Accused of "Physical and Psychological Rape"?

Hrithik: The moment I heard that word I just STOPPED. I didn't want to get into all this. I had a very good working relationship with her and that's it.

Were you Scared?

Hrithik: I got very scared. This is a high profile person. I didn't want to get into any trouble.

I went on with my life and I had shared it with my team with my dad. It completely died for a month.

This is the most crazy story we've heard.

Why didn't you speak before?

Hrithik: I have these emails. I have the evidence. We have a lot of daily problems in our lives. I didn't want to get into it.

After a month there's another email on your original/ correct email id:

The 1st email is just a continuation of the previous ones... she promises you anonymity, the cover of having a secret relationship.

Hrithik: These were not the 1st mails though. There were "miss you emails". They were "explicit" mails. After the 3rd or the 4th day I redirected the mails to "SPAM".

After 2016 the harassment became public. She went on calling me "Silly Ex".

About hacking Kangana's email id:

Hrithik: Hacking is not like changing batteries. You need technical knowledge, you need a device to hack. And how can I hack it and send mails to myself.

Maybe you have taken intimate pictures of her when you were in a relationship with her and then threatened her to expose them?

Hrithik: That's based on her assumption that there was any relationship between us.

Why didn't you send her a mail to not send you "explicit" mails?

Hrithik: This is not the 1st time that I have received such kinds of mails. I felt that my non-reaction might dissolve this.

When I heard terms like "rape", I didn't find any kind of coherence.

Why didn't you file a police complaint that time?

Hrithik: I didn't want to make it public. Lodging a police complaint would make i public. I didn't want to get into it.

I was a single man in 2014, 2015, 2016. I could have sent her a mail or call her up or send her a message "Come Over".

When did the Emails Stop?

Hrithik: They are not sensual emails. They are offensive to the senses. The mails stopped on December 11, 2014.
