Another year comes to an end as we are all busy buzzing with excitement for our New Year’s parties to welcome 2009 with a GREAT BANG! But ever wonder what our Bollywood celebrities are up to during this time of the year? Well our Bolly Curry team brings to you an exclusive New Year’s Bollywood Party with some of Bollywood’s popular celebrities who come down our lane to tell us their plans, resolutions and wishes for the coming year!

How are you planning to celebrate New Year’s Eve?
This year due to the recent tragedy that struck Mumbai we won’t be partying. Usually we have a lot of fun and there are lots of parties but this year it will be a simple evening due to the recent tragedy.


Any New Year’s Resolutions for 2009?
You know what, I never follow my new year resolution so none!


What can fans expect from you in the upcoming year?
They can expect good, entertaining work from me and hopefully they will be seeing a lot more of me.


Any secret wish that you would want comes true in 2009?
Isn't it supposed to be a secret? [Laughs]. Oh god! I haven't really thought about this but let’s see - well, I am still single so I am hoping to find the right guy for me!

This year I will be spending time with my family and a few of my friends will be coming over. I plan on spending the evening at home only.


Any New Year’s Resolutions for 2009?
Yea, I shop a lot! I will try to control myself and shop less.


What can fans expect from you in the upcoming year?
In 2008, I tried different roles from Jodhaa Akbar and Singh is Kinng to Ek Vivah Aisa Bhi. I will try my best to bring variety in my roles. City of Life is my upcoming film next year in which I play a taxi driver and then there is another movie titled Dhoondte Reh Jaaoge slated to release in March in which I play a superstar. I will try to entertain my fans by doing good work.

Any secret wish that you would want comes true in 2009?
I would like to make my family proud by doing lots of good work.

I am just attending some house parties...small, little chill out thing!


Any New Year’s Resolutions for 2009?
Actually for a change this year I do have a resolution. I am trying to work out and absolutely transform my physicality.


And when asked if he is going to follow that he replies, "Actually I have never made a resolution but I am looking at it this way because I have to transform myself due to a few of the projects which I am working in that start by March/April. The kind of roles that I am playing require a bit of transformation so I plan on sticking to my resolution.


What can fans expect from you in the upcoming year?
They can expect a lot of fun actually in the first few months. By the end of Feb, Banda Yeh Bindaas Hai should be rolling out and then around July there will be another really great entertainer.


Any secret wish that you would want comes true in 2009?
Not really a secret but in times like this it is a rather selfish wish. I wish for absolute peace of mind and genuine happiness!
