Happy Birthday Arbaaz Khan! (4th aug)

From an actor to a producer to a director, Arbaaz Khan has done it all, and today he celebrates his 46^th birthday! From BollyCurry, a very happy birthday!

Khan is the second son of Salim Khan and Sushila Charak, his stepmother being the Bollywood actress and dancer, Helen. Superstar Salman Khan is his older brother, while Sohail Khan is his younger brother. He also has two sisters: Alvira Khan and, an adopted sister, Arpita Khan. He married model and actress Malaika Arora Khan in 1997 and they have a son, Arhaan, who was born in 2003.

In 1996, Khan made his debut in the role of a psychotic wife beater in Daraar, for which he received the Filmfare Best Villain award. While his solo hero ventures did not bring him much success, his inclusion in many multi-starrer films such as Pyaar Kiya Toh Darna Kya, bought him his  fair share of fame. He has also tasted success in villainous or comic roles such as Qayamat: City Under Threat, Hulchul and Bhagam Bhaag. His role of police officer in Shootout at Lokhandwala and Fool and Final also won him much applause.

In 2010, Khan first started his own production house, Arbaaz Khan Productions, and it's very first film, Dabangg, was a huge success. His role of Makhi in the movie was much appreciated as well. The film became a blockbuster in its first week and broke several box office records. In 2012, Khan took the director's helm as he directed the sequel, Dabangg 2.
