Born on 28th September 1982 to Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh, Bollywood's next big superstar Ranbir Kapoor

celebrates his 30th birthday today and this birthday has proven to be lucky for him. His latest movie Barfi! has been selected as India's official entry to the Oscars. Ranbir, who otherwise doesn't like celebrations much, celebrated his birthday with friends yesterday night.

The guest list included Katrina Kaif, Anushka Sharma, Arjun Kapoor, Karan Johar, Imtiaz Ali, Anurag Kashyap with wife Kalki, and perhaps most surprisingly, ex-GF Deepika Padukone

Karan Johar took to twitter to wish the actor "Wishing the super talented Ranbir Kapoor a very happy birthday!!! More power to him!!" [sic]

Ileana also wished Ranbir on twitter "Happy birthday Ranbir! You are one of the best co star I ever had! Understanding caring and friendly! And a good actor sorry I can say best"[sic]

Dia Mirza followed suit as well, tweeting "Happy Birthday to our Darling "Barfi"Ranbir Kapoor!!! We love you!!!"[sic]
