With tigers falling prey to human activities, the population of the big striped cats have dipped to an all time low. However, there are organizations out there bidding to save the graceful creature, which also happens to be a crucial symbol of our nationalism, as the national animal of India. It is a pleasant discovery for us at BollyCurry, finding out a rise in the number of tinsel town celebs backing up this particular cause. At first it was Big B who stepped forward for the 'Save the Tiger' campaign by pledging his support. Following in the legendary actor's footsteps is Neil Nitin Mukesh. Going a step ahead, the young talented actor comes up with a unique strategy. Neil captured the graceful wild cat in a photo-shot that he then decided to put up for auction.

The proceedings from the bid were henceforth to be chipped in for the funds supporting the campaign. Tweets Neil, "I'll be donating a photograph clicked by me of the TIGER. Do bid for it. Every penny goes for a very noble cause. Thank you!" ((c) Twitter) Consequently he tweeted back with good news informing a collection of a whopping $2500 in return for his camera work. "The photograph sold for 2500 dollars.Thank you MR SREEDHAR of VITAL SPRINGS for this kind noble gesture. Its for a good cause. SAVE THE TIGER." ((c) Twitter)
