Bips to Pull Off a Tyra Banks?!

Latest gossip doing rounds is about Bipasha Basu's possible mega appearance as the host for India's Next Top Model, a reality show inspired by its American forerunner, America's Next Top Model (ANTN aka Top Model).

For those uninitiated about the latter, Tyra Banks, who is an extremely popular host on American TV, has been hosting Next Top Model too. For its Indian version, which will be under the production of SRK's Red Chilli Entertainment, Bipasha Basu has been approached to step into Tyra's role.

Previously, Bipasha has in fact been a winner of the Supermodel Contest held internationally.

The show is expected to start off with 10-14 fresh faces, which will be followed by successive eliminations until a final winner is chosen.

When we contacted Bipasha Basu, she confirmed the buzz for having been approached to play host. Apparently, talks for this glamorous reality show have been on for almost a year now, but Bipasha sounded hopeful about everything finally coming together in the near future. And if that does happen, yes, she will be onscreen for her first ever hosting experience!
