Remember the prices of your favorite items in market going sky-high and moms complaining about how expensive vegetables suddenly were? Economists called it recession, and it wasn't just your personal life getting effected! Reports have clarified that the Indian film industry suffered heavy losses, with directors worrying whether their movies were going to go down the drain too. Fortunately for all of us (and mostly for the film-makers), recession is finally over and Bollywood is on a roll, churning out hundreds of movies every year.

Making up for lost time, producer and film-maker Sajid Nadiadwala has already signed superstars Akshay Kumar, Saif Ali Khan and Salman Khan for three of his upcoming films. His most recent movie to be released is Anjaana Anjaani , starring the fabulous and charming Ranbir Kapoor of the Saawariya fame.

His previous two releases, Kambakht Ishq and House Full, both starring the multi-talented Akshay Kumar were major box-office hits, and rumours say that Nadiadwala is already working on the sequel of House Full.

The movies with Salman Khan and Saif Ali Khan are still under talks, though rumours seem to inform us that Siddhart Anand, of previous Hum Tum, Salaam Namaste and Bachna Ae Haseeno fame, will be directing the movie with Saif. News of a 'big hotshot director' coming on board to direct Salman's movie, Kick, are also afloat.

Though the male star cast has been decided, the ladies are yet to be selected! There is a fair chance between Katrina Kaif and Priyanka Chopra to be cast against Saif in his upcoming movie. Whereas Housefull's sequel may see the beautiful Deepika Padukone playing Akshay's love interest once again while Salman's Kick may feature Sonakshi Sinha, due to her amazing on-screen chemistry with the star in Dabangg.

Here's wishing Sajid best of luck for all his movies!!
