Farhan Proposes to Deepika in the Rain

Writer-director Vijay Lalwani makes his directorial debut in Karthik Calling Karthik.The script is nothing short of perfection, as his love for writing indicates, yet he had to rewrite an integral scene due to the rains!

Vijay had attempted to shoot a scene ,in which,the character that Farhan Akhtar plays, proposes to character that Deepika Padukone plays. He had planned to shoot it in an extravagant way - outdoors with plenty of sunshine, in June, but then decided to postpone it to October because it was raining.

When it was the day to shoot the scene again, however, it rained again, and this time Vijay decided to rewrite the script and shoot the proposal scene in the rain.

Come rain or shine, we're sure that Karthik Calling Karthik will be a hit ,when it releases on 26^th February 2010!
