Deepika Steps in Asin's Role ...

Ashutosh Gowarikar's upcoming film Khelenge Hum Jee Jaan Se is looking for a female lead, a role which very recently was heard to have been turned down by Asin Thottumkal.

The film was scheduled to begin its shooting soon, so Ashutosh was in dire need of finding a replacement for its lady protagonist. After some discussions, found his next best bet in Deepika Padukone. Deepika likes the script and is most likely to sign the contract for this upcoming venture.  Khelenge Hum Jee Jaan Se has Abhishek Bachchan as the male lead, and if all things go well, Deepika and Abhishek will be cast together for the first time!
