Hrithik overpowers Abhishek

Agneepath, Hrithik Roshan, Abhishek Bachchan" align="right" hspace="5" vspace="5" />After many a twists galore, it is now open that Hrithik 'Krissh' Roshan will portray the character immortalised by Big B, Vijay Dinanath Chauhan, in the remake of the blockbuster movie of yesteryears 'Agneepath'.


There were many rumours doing the rounds that Abhishek Bachchan had landed the role in the remake after Hrithik Roshan refused the movie due to date problems.. but looks like Junior Bachchan will have to wait more for his dream role.


The news is that talks were on with both the actors, Hrithik being the original choice. But the actor had to refuse the movie due to date issues and Abhi Jr. had landed himself the role.


But things have taken a major twist as Roshan put Vishal Bharadwaj's movie which was specifically crafted for him on-hold thus solving the 'case of missing dates'. With dates in hand, Hrithik was once again available leaving Abhishek to smell the dark.


Finally, Hrithik has landed himself the coveted role in the remake of 'Agneepath' and Abhishek has been left out.


The movie is being directed by Karan Malhotra and produced by Karan Johar.
