Sonam Kapoor's Wedding Looks Decoded; From Mehendi To Reception

For her mehendi ceremony, Sonam Kapoor was seen wearing an elegant pastel sharara suit. Her sharara was designed by Anuradha Vakil and she looked like a breath of fresh air in the pastel peach and green. The hues of pink in her dress enhanced the blush of love on her face and we simply fell in love with her smile all over again. Because she had too much going on with her dress, she went for minimal makeup and jewelry.  The dupatta had broad hemlines with golden beaded embellishments, some intricate zardosi work and  gotta patti. There weregolden embellishments and detailed brocade work towards the end of her pants as well. Statement earrings and soft curls completed her look and made her the queen of the day.

Sonam Kapoor looked like a princess from her own movie Prem Ratan Dhan Payo on the day of her sangeet. Her sangeet look took our breath away. She wore a chikankari suit by Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla couture. Her outfit was exceptionally beautiful and made her look regal. The lehenga had a heavily embroidered blouse, matching skirt and a delicate dupatta. She wore her mother's jewelry on the day of her sangeet. The mang tikka, kunday chokar and jhumkas all were a perfect fit for her. 

 Just like any other bride, Sonam's choice of color for the day was red. This outfit was also from the designer Anuradha Vakil. The gold lotus all over her dress made her lehenga and dupatta an unconventional choice for a bride. But that is what Sonam is. She is the fashionista who makes bold choices. She wore this beautiful, bold lehenga teamed up with stunning vintage style jewelry. She wore a chokar along with a Guttaphusalu - long necklace and a multi stranded maang tikka. Kalire and chuda finished her look and completed her as a bride. 

After hectic three day affair, it becomes tough for even our divas to carry the loadof jewelry. For her reception Sonam Kapoor chose a peppy number. Her lehenga was a trendy grey color and not at all a usual choice. She is a blue colored fashionista and she proved it again with the choice of her outfit.  The full-sleeve blouse featured stripes at the hem and she wore it with a chevron printed lehenga. Accessorized with a heavy four-tier diamond neck piece, Sonam enthralled us once again. She rounded off the look with a dewy sheen, light smokey eyes, bold red lips and sleek hair.
