the spin-off prequel of Baby
(2015), is undoubtedly one of the most awaited action thrillers of 2017. Taapsee Pannu
, who was last seen in the critically acclaimed film Pink
(2016), will be seen reprising her role as Shabana. While the film has already hit theatres on the 31st of March this year, the weeks prior to the date were rather frenetic for the cast as they showed up at numerous promotional events. Pannu, to be precise, was seen adorning some outfits that set major fashion goals. BollyCurry brings you a roundup of some of her looks in no particular order.
The first to go on our list is the Tanieya Khanuja outfit comprising of a fitted pleated jacket with an asymmetrical hem skirt which Pannu wore for the press meet of the film. She matched the attire with pointed silver pumps and minimal makeup. She finished off the look with a middle parted simple hairdo and no jewelry. We wish she had styled her hair differently, but overall she did manage to look good.

The actress was then seen at the Mumbai screening of the movie in a floral yellow flared top and white pencil skirt by Pankaj and Nidhi. Yet again, she went for the minimal makeup regime with her hair left open. Complementing the look with grey pumps, Pannu managed to carry off this breezy chic look confidently. However, some accessories would have definitely upped the glamor quotient

Pannu donned a Dabu Trench Dress from the label Aapro at one of her promotional events with Akshay Kumar in New Delhi. She wore a pair of camel brogues which definitely helped pull the outfit together. The overall look was concluded with minimal makeup and a pair of black studs. With her hair partially in a ponytail and the rest framing her face, she looked effortlessly stylish.

On the same day, the actress attended the Delhi screening of the film in separates from Vizyon. She slipped into a corset-inspired blouse with cutout sleeves and a pair of flared pants. Her face looked neutral, yet sexy, thanks to the eye makeup! What added charm to the outfit, was her choice of baubles from E-Designs along with the side-swept cornrow hairdo. Pulling off the attire with grace, she paired it with simple black strappy heels. This one gets a thumbs up!

The red shibori tunic dress designed by Swati Vijaivargie was a much needed break from the mostly monochrome palette. Pannu layered it with a grey jacket from JADE by Monica and Karishma. In contrast to her usual heels or pumps, she was seen in a pair of Pastels and Pop juttis. While the individual pieces of clothing looked convincing to our eyes, the overall look failed to impress. Furthermore, her hairstyle and makeup added nothing to the look. This one gets a thumbs down from us!

Our list concludes with a diverse approach by Pannu as she stepped out in white Samant Chauhan separates with multi-colored patterns on her high-low hem kurta. She accessorized her outfit with earrings from E-Designs and Ridhi Mehra shoes, which served as icing on the cake. The high braided updo suits the look well. While the look could have benefitted from a more fitted trouser, this look is still one of our favorites.

With this, we wrap up this edition of sighted. Taking a quick peek at her fashion for the events and the alluring smile that never leaves her face, we are convinced that Pannu rocks most of the outfits she attempts, be it casuals or formals. Nonetheless, we are getting a bit bored of her neutral and minimal makeup looks and hope to see her attempt more vivid styles in the days to come. We, at BollyCurry, wish the team of Naam Shabana all the very best and urge our readers to give this movie a shot!
