Spotted: Indian Film Festival Melbourne

The ever radiant Malaika Arora Khan looked resplendent in a black Humariff gown which featured a plunging necklane and 0some lace details. She kept things simple with one ring and drop earrings from H. Ajoomal Fine Jewellery. Her hair was pulled back into a simple bun resulting in her looking effortlessly elegant.

Sonam Kapoor, who won an award for her portrayal of the titular character in Neerja (2016), wore an outfit straight off the runway from Anamika Khanna Couture. The three piece outfit was made up of pants, a fitted shirt and a long overcoat that swept the ground, all with the same design and in the same shade of silver-ish grey. Coupled with a chunky choker, a big ring, and big studs in her ear, plus red lips and Louboutin pumps, she made a striking figure. However, personally, I think it was overkill. Something about the whole outfit just did not work.

Richa Chadda also attended the IFFMelb and looked appropriately dressed for winter at the opening night, dressed in a floor length, black, floral, Rohit Bal anarkali with a matching jacket. The red piping at the edges of the jacket added a pop of colour that matched her painted red lips. Amarpali earrings completed her look. Everything worked beautifully except for the open hair. It looked a little messy but there's no denial that she still looked good.
