Fashion Police: HT Most Stylish Awards

The HT Most Stylish Awards gave the Fashion Police yet another chance to swing back into action to comment and critique the striking appearances as our B-Town celebs walked the red carpet. Spring seems to have brought a refreshing change with the popular ladies experimenting with their looks. So what are you waiting for?! Sit back and read on to find who hit the bull's eye and who missed it!

Since last year, Kajol seems to have undergone a style evolution. Stepping out of her comfy casual avatars, Mrs. Devgn seems to be experimenting with her looks. Now this menswear inspired outfit by Kunal Anil Tanna was an interesting surprise. The black and bronze outfit was finished with a dash of deep red lip color and matching pocket square. Kajol opted for natural curled hair swept to her side and a layer of crusty make up. Now this is something we don't like! Nevertheless, Kajol managed to pull off a modest appearance with this rather peculiar ensemble. BollyCurry Rating: 3.5/5

Now this lady surely knows what she is doing! Kangna Ranaut has yet another enchanting appearance to her credit. Kangna attended the awards night in a black bean Burberry suit with a black shirt underneath and nude pumps. She finished the look with hair done in perfect natural curls with blond streaks and light, natural make up. Ranaut definitely managed to grab some limelight with this look. With such impeccable dressing, Ms. Ranaut is sure giving the Fashion Police some much needed moments of peace. Way to go, girl! BollyCurry Rating: 4.5/5

Would it be wrong to say that forty is the new twenty? Looking at Malaika Arora Khan, I think not! Malaika was seen wearing a deep orange Pankaj and Nidhi thigh slit gown accessorized only with a pair of blue earrings and nude pumps. While the sheer dress was a good pick, the oh-so-obvious lining wasn't really a wise move. And although we love those smooth legs, we would have gone for some other pair of heels. With those silky tresses swept to the side and natural makeup complementing her dusky complexion, this appearance didn't register very high on our scoreboard. BollyCurry Rating: 3/5

This Bollywood actress is on a roll with yet another magnificent appearance. Not that we're complaining, but she sure is giving the rest a run for their money. Priyanka Chopra picked a Victoria Beckham ensemble for the night, and there is no doubt that she looked smoldering hot in this backless, midriff baring top and two colored pencil skirt. That ravishing smile enhanced with a burgundy lip color contrasted well against the smoky eye makeup. Piggy Chops tied her hair in a sleek ponytail and finished off the look with her favorite pair of black Louboutins. Now this is something we like! BollyCurry Rating: 4.5/5

Deepika Padukone attended the HT Awards in a shimmering white gown with a deep plunging neckline. Adding a layered necklace to the sequined dress and paired it with silver sandals was a decision wisely taken. A perfect choice of hair and smoky eye makeup with a matte nude lipstick, Deepika looked stunning in this number. BollyCurry Rating 3/5

Now this is what we call simple yet elegant. Tisca Chopra wore a Gauri and Nainika black gown with a thin silver belt and contrasting silver earrings. Tisca looked radiant in that sparkly makeup and pink lip color, a good choice to complement the look. This timeless look was finished with an updo and silver clutch. She looked great.
