It's been a year of wedlocks for our beloved B-Town celebrities! From surprises to the much anticipated, here's BollyCurry taking a look at those who tied the knot in 2010.

Konkona Sen Sharma and Ranvir Shorey
Low-key couple Konkona Sen Sharma and Ranvir Shorey instilled the same tradition for their wedding day as they celebrated with only close friends and family at their Versova Residence in Mumbai.

The couple first met on the sets of Mixed Doubles back in 2006 and after three years of courting and a quiet engagement that followed, they were married on September 3rd this year.Ranvir was spotted in a traditional turban whilst Konkona donned her grandmothers inherited jewellery.

The wedding was said to be a mixture of Bengali and Punjabi rituals, keeping true to both of their cultures.

Shruti Seth and Danish Aslam
Director Danish Aslam (of Break Ke Baad fame) flew actress long time beau Shruti Seth to Goa where they stretched their wedding ceremonies and celebrations over the span of three days!

Joined by Imran Khan, Avantika Malik, Deepika Padukone and Gul Panag, amongst others, the couple wed in an unconventional ceremony with close friend and producer Kunal Kohli presiding over the rites.

Both the bride's and groom's side entered with song and dance sequences (poor Imran had to improvise the steps having not been there for the rehearsals) and the cast of Break Ke Baad were said to have had a blast with a much welcome respite from their hectic shooting schedules.

Vivek Oberoi and Priyanka Alva

October also witnessed Vivek Oberoi tying the knot with Priyanka Alva.

Held at Alva's farmhouse in Bangalore, the venue wowed the guests in attendance with its Olympic sized pool, massive lawns, a football field, a baseball field and 60 decorated palm tress imported all the way from Italy and Czecheslovakia!

Celebrities Sushmita Sen (with daughter Renee), Mani Ratnam and Poonam Dhillon were at the lavish wedding which also boasted of dozens of LCD screens and thousands of imported flowers and crystals.

Shoiab Malik and Sania Mirza
A wedding that we all remember - or more so the public chaos that preceded it! Shrouded by controversy on their special day, Indian tennis star, Sania Mirza and Pakistani cricketer, Shoaib Malik bonded in holy matrimony as per Muslim traditions in Taj Krishna, Hyderabad.

Sania was said to have dressed in the sari her mother wore 25 years ago. Owing political controversy owing a bonding across the estranged borders, the couple have since chosen to reside in Dubai whilst continuing to represent both of their countries.

Sonali Kulkarniand Nachiket Pantvaidya
Another quiet wedding took place between actress Sonali Kulkarni and the MD of Fox Television Studios, Nachiket Pantvaidya.

A private affair with only immediate family in attendance, the ceremony took place with a traditional Marathi rites in Pune.

Whilst Sonali may not have had much luck breaking in to B-Town, she is a popular marathi actress and will continue to star in movies after her marriage.

Manisha Koirala and Samrat Dahal
Actress Manisha Koirala wed
Kathmandu-based businessman Samrat Dahal on the 19th of June at the Gokarna Forest Resort.

The alliance was said to be fixed by their respective families despite Manisha's name being linked with many acquaintances over the years. The most recent being American author Christopher Dolan where the two are alleged to have bonded over books in Paris.
