BollyCurry brings to you the first in our line of exclusive interviews with numerous Bollywood stars, old and new! This time, the hot seat is occupied by none other than Karan Kundra, the hottie who stole numerous hearts, including that of his co-star Kritika Kamra, through his performance in NDTV Imagine's Kitani Mohabbat Hai.

Keep reading to know more about the young lad and his upcoming Punjabi movie Pure Punjabi.

1. You were spotted by Ekta Kapoor on Facebook in 2009, after which you starred in Kitani Mohabbat Hai, if Ekta hadn't spotted you, what do you think you would be doing now?

I would have been a tycoon with offices around the world catering to the U.S. doctors. I also would have expanded my outsourcing business.

2. Your fans will soon catch you as Prem Mittal in your upcoming punjabi movie Pure Punjabi. How difficult or easy was it to assay the role of a Punjabi boy?

Laughing he says, "Prem is a rich, spoilt, vibrant college-going guy with dreams in his eyes. He lives in a fantasy world of his own. In fact, Prem and Karan share numerous qualities. Portraying the role reminded me of my college days. And doing a Punjabi film is like a dream come true. I play the lead vocalist in a rock band who drives BMWs, Audis and Jaguars, What else would I want?!"

3. Kitani Mohabbat Hai was a huge success and you received much love from your fans as Arjun. What similarities and differences do you see between the two characters?

Well, Arjun #1 and Arjun #2 were both characters penned by Ekta ma'am herself and no one can recreate that! Prem is the loudest of all the characters I've portrayed till date. He is funny, crazy, spontaneous, always happy, smiling, and can be quite naughty. He's nothing like the Arjuns, except the intensity in the eyes. Can't help that now, can I?

4. Can you tell a bit about your role in the movie and what the movie is about?

The movie is a story about four youngsters from different backgrounds that share a passion for music and want to form a rock-band. However, their parents want them to become professionals – doctors, engineers, etc. It's a youth story about how they fight against all odds to follow their dreams!

5. The movie is said to be a musical drama. Will we get to see a dance move or two from you?

We get a grin out of him again! He answers, "Shucks! The movie has 10 individual numbers sung by Master Saleem, Mika, Shahid and others and yes we do dance around in it! And there is also an amazing romantic song which I'm really looking forward to. It's a Punjabi film, how can we not dance?"

6. There are numerous newcomers starring in the movie alongside you, did you guys get along? Any fun stories to share from the sets?

OMG! It's a lot of fun. We're a bunch of youngsters and bond really quite well. To sweeten the deal even more, two of my closest childhood friends are in the film and it is also being shot in my hometown. So you guys can imagine what a blast it is! Plus the food is awesome!!!

7. Kritika's new show is going to launch in October, with it being her first after Kitani Mohabbat Hai. Since you guys will no longer be working together, do you anticipate any changes in your relationship with having less time to spend with her due to scheduling conflicts with you having your movie to focus on and Kritika her new show?

We've done shows separately in the past as well, she did Pyaar ka Bandhan and I did Bayttaab, but yes this time is a bit different. My movie will be done by the 1st half of October and then I'll have all the time.

8. Your fans have being waiting to catch you on-screen again, any message for them? Will we only get to see you in movies in the future or are you planning to return to TV again?

I never plan, God has a plan for me and I just excitedly jump along! So let's see what he has in store for me next. And yes, I would love to be back on screen again hopefully silver screen this time. So guys, please pray for me! Bless all of you!

And there you have it! Currently, his movie Pure Punjabi is set to release towards the end of 2011. Keep an eye out for more information and don't forget to check it out!
