Faruque Kabir's directorial debut is out with its first look, as we bring it to you.
Allah Ke Banday is a story that brings forth the face of ugly
truths about innocent childhoods spent in a vast, and expectantly
neglected slum area. Two boys are brought into the world in this less
than humble dwelling, tagged
bhool bhulaiya (a maze) by its inhabitants and outsiders alike, for it is a place once entered, is near impossible to exit.
The movie, which is now a UNESCO approved project, is slotted for
release on 22nd October. Here's hoping, director Kabir's well meaning
and awakening film can cut a place for itself amidst competing
entertainers, which but occasionally lack meaningful cinematics.
