Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are now "officially engaged".

If fresh reports from Italy are to be believed, B-town's most loved couple got engaged last night in a traditional Konkani ceremony. At the moment they are are on cloud nine and are basking in every joy of their pre-wedding festivities.

According to a report in Spotboye.com, DeepVeer got hitched in Phool Muddi ceremony wherein Deepika's father Prakash Padukone welcomed Ranveer and his family.

In the traditional way, Deepika's father offered the groom a coconut and washed his feet. Soon after the ceremony, the couple reportedly exchanged rings.

In the presence of their near and dear ones including Deepika's parents Prakash and Ujjala Padukone and Ranveer's parents Jagjit Singh Bhavnani and Anju Bhavnani and the couple's sisters Anisha and Ritika, the duo is going to tie the knot on November 14 and 15.

As reported earlier, the couple wanted it to be a very private and intimate ceremony, following which they had, in advance, asked their guests to not click any pictures and also be present at the wedding ceremony and pre-wedding functions without their phones.

The mehendi and sangeet ceremony took place earlier in the day and tomorrow, i.e. on November 14th, 2018 the power couple will be tying the holy knot.
