Rasika's look inspired by Late Meena Kumari from Sahib Bibi Aur Ghulam

Actress Rasika Dugal after impressing the audience as Safia in her recent film Manto has upped her game to the next level for her forthcoming projects. Recently the trailer of her much-awaited digital series by Amazon Prime was released and has been lauded by both the fraternity and the audiences.

Rasika will be seen playing the role of Beena Tripathi wife of ganglord Pankaj Tripathi aka Kaleen Bhaiya in the series. As per the trailer, Rasika's character Beena looks like a daring and desirable woman. The first look of Rasika has a great deal of resemblance to that of legendary actress Meena Kumari from the film Sahib Biwi Aur Gulam released in 1962. Meena Kumari played the role of Choti Bahu in a Bengali family. Rasika's look and styling was done keeping in mind the look of late actress Meena Kumari from Sahib Bibi Aur Gulam and was modernized to suit today's time.
