Post Sridevi's Demise, here's how Boney and Janhvi CELEBRATED Diwali

Sridevi's sudden death was a shocker to her family and all her well-wishers around the country. The first superstar of Bollywood left us too early by accidentally drowning in a hotel bathtub in Dubai. Evidentially, the Kapoor family especially her husband Boney Kapoor and daughters Janhvi and Khushi Kapoor are yet to come to terms with her loss.

As the whole of Bollywood enjoyed Diwali, it was the first Diwali for the Kapoor family without Sridevi. As known to all, Boney celebrated Diwali by feeding sweet to the love of his life Sridevi.

Now, after Sridevi's demise, Boney continued the tradition by feeding sweet to his daughters - Khushi and Janhvi Kapoor. Below is a photo of how Boney is continuing the Diwali tradition but the sadness on their face is easily available. It was low key but we admire how the tradition lives on.

Earlier this year on Sridevi's birthday, Boney had shared a heart-warming note for her. He had expressed, "There are heroes and then there are legends, heroes get remembered but legends never die. Sri lives with us every day not a minute goes by when we don't miss her".

About coping up with life and managing two daughters, Boney Kapoor had expressed, "I am trying to be both a mother and a father to my children".

"She was suddenly gone. These past months have been very difficult. Everything went on a freeze-pause in our lives. There were so many things left unsaid and undone. Now I am finally picking up the pieces again trying to put my life together for my children's sake. There were things that were put on pause. I am trying to resume my life. I am yet to come to terms with the fact that she's gone forever", he added.
