Prakash Padukone was hurt to see Deepika's Link-up rumors in Newspaper

As we all are already gate crashing the wedding of Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, the former got candid with India today in an interview. ALong her side was not the man she will marry but one whom she calls her dad, Prakash Padukone. In a hearty chat Deepika made many revelations about how she feels about marriage and how she wants her life to be.

Her father too talked about the feeling he had when he read Deepika's link up rumors ahead of her wedding. He said,""Initially, we found it difficult. But nowadays, we're used to it. Some of it - what is being reported is true, but some of it is absolutely not correct. But it is a part and parcel of... you can't have only good things. One has to accept it."

Very cheerfully, Deepika too chimed in and said,"Like athletes, you can't only have the trophies and not the injuries. That's not to say that the speculation will not continue. I think that's a part and parcel of what we do,"

Talking about how excited she is about the wedding, Deepika said,""Of course (I am excited), I think it's the same way that I am excited about signing my next film. Marriage is definitely something I have looked forward to in my life as would any other girl. When it does happen, it will be exciting, it should be exciting. I don't see why my life should change at all (after marriage)."

She talked about how she sees herself in marriage and said,""I have seen my parents do it so well and so successfully and for me that's the way I would like my married life to be as well. I think they have a beautiful relationship, the way they have managed their professional life and being together as a family and in every way they have set an amazing benchmark for me and my sister and I would love for it to be that way."

Deepika is getting married to Ranveer Singh after a six year long relationship. On November 14 and 15th, DeepVeer's wedding will take place at Lake Como, Italy. Here's wishing them loads of happiness and a happily ever after.
